This scrumptious spaghetti recipie is not only delicious and a big hit with the kids, it’s also easy peasy to prepare and takes only 30 mins to cook! You can use leftover Sunday roast chicken or cooked chicken breasts from the supermarket.
300g uncooked spaghetti
400g cooked, chopped chicken
1 onion, chopped
2 cans chopped tomatoes
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
200g grated Cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 °C
Cook the pasta according to packet instructions, drain then rinse with boiling water and put to one side.
Coat a large non stick pan with cooking spray; place over a medium heat and add the onion and garlic – cook for 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, seasoning and salt. Bring to the boil then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Add half of the cheese and the rest of the remaining ingredients. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
Transfer into a casserole dish and bake at 350 °C for 15 minutes.
